I am seeking re-election to the Board of Education. For the last two years as a member of the Board, I have promoted safety in our schools, curriculum revision and fiscal responsibility.

I believe that the Board must continue to be proactive in assuring the parents that our schools are safe, friendly and challenging for their children.

I also believe that the Board must continue to monitor curriculum to ensure that it is consistent and relevant.  Since the United States is part of a global economy, we must ascertain that our curriculum is reflective.

I will continue to be cognizant during budget time of the economic climate.

I understand and appreciate the concerns of taxpayers and will strive to present a budget that is reelecting of those concerns. I believe during my tenure that the Board addressed those concerns.

Finally, I will be visible and available to the parents. I want them to feel free to contact me at any time.
