Jill Notar-Francesco
Board of Education

As a member of the Board of Education since 2007, I appreciate the opportunity to serve the Southington school district and community.  Every Southington student is valued as a member of our community and must receive a high-quality education in our schools.  This is my expectation of our district and what every child deserves.

Southington residents can be confident that I highly regard my responsibilities on the Board of Education.  As I have demonstrated over the last two years, I will consistently work hard for the community, be thorough in this work, and remain focused on the best interests of our schoolchildren.  Dedicating my time, energy and experience to the Board of Education, I will…

--remain committed to safety and security in our schools as a chief priority;

--continue to work for on-going, prudent fiscal accountability.  I will continue to devote the time and effort needed to address details, ask questions, and assure taxpayers that BOE funds are used appropriately;

--expect academic excellence at all levels, supporting teachers and staff in this goal;

--be visible, open-minded and responsive to ideas, needs and concerns presented by parents, staff, and residents.
